Tribe Looks To Split Series At Even
The Tribe lost yesterday in what can only be called a pitcher’s duel. The Mariners pitcher did a great job- AGAiN. No wonder they say the reason the Mariners win a lot is because of their pitchers! That’s a lesson about just how important pitchers can be. The final score was 3-1. I liked how the Tribe didn’t give up, they kept trying to put the ball into play but were not able to a lot. Our bullpen did a great job, so the final score was nothing like the score could have been. Grady Sizemore had a few great plays, & even a diving catch. The fans at Pro Field cheered until the very end, which actually made it a lot easier to deal with the fact that we lost, for some reason. Today we have a afternoon game at 1:05 & look to even the series at 2 games a piece. One thing I cant help but hear the rumors about..will Eric Wedge still be the manager by the end of the year?

The Mariners have a few good things going for them this year. Pitching is one. Hope your Tribe can win today! Cheer hard!

I hope Wedge stays. He’s done a lot for the team and shouldn’t be blamed for the poor health and poor performances of its aging stars (ahem, Travis Hafner).

I do like Wedge. then again I’m not an Indians fan, but he’s been a great skipper ove rthe past few years. I hear alot of Tribe fans around me always calling for his head.

Glad to see the fans still have the players backs by cheering until the end. Sometimes that can rattle some pitchers, sometimes it can energize your own guy.
But cheering in general during a baseball game is critical.

Wedge isn’t that bad. But everytime I read something about Cleveland it is like they want to run him out of town! Too bad.
The Mariners have been really good this year, so a loss to a team like that isn’t so bad. BUT a win against them is going to feel really good.

I tip my cap to the Indians this series because honestly, in the most non-conniving way, they played tough till the end and kept the Mariners (and the fans!) pretty frickin’ nervous. Besides, you guys faced all of our aces and still fought it out, plus you guys kept our run scores really low. The Indians RPs are really good!
